My name is Vonj. I’m a self-taught musician, born in Kenya and currently active in the UK. Songwriting is my true passion—it's the thread that’s run through everything I’ve done musically. Over the years, I’ve worked across a wide range of projects as an independent artist, producer, and session player. I’ve released several albums and led multiple bands, each chapter helping me grow and bringing me closer to discovering my true musical identity.
There have been key pivot points along the way, moments that challenged me to refine my sound and vision. This latest progression in my journey has meant surrounding myself not just with musicians who have the technical ability to bring the music to life, but with people who share the same spirit—those who understand that growth as an artist never stops. Humility, dedication, and a deep love for the craft are values I hold close.
